1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
When I tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor, and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like all 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more care.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a reliable option for your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with a number of innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply drag the pad across it. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot combo has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It includes a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as required. It also has a number of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it is sometimes hung in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). The mopping feature is pretty impressive, and comes with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation when required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on carpets and hard floors. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to get into areas that are difficult to reach and a mop pad that extends along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent it can navigate through small spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home WiFI network and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's less expensive because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with a plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to wipe your floor. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor type and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with a 2700Pa power that can combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested that did not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it did not remove kitty-poop or cable tangles. This isn't surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight corners and corners that other vacuums are unable to. The K10 Plus also collects more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which further reduces costs. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
